“Major European Club Expresses Relief Over Not Acquiring Havertz: Labeling Him a Costly Mistake Dodged”

    adminBy adminSeptember 23, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

Real Madrid can now breathe a sigh of relief, thankful for not engaging in a bidding war with Arsenal over Kai Havertz. The Spanish powerhouse has labeled Havertz as an “expensive fraud,” considering his lackluster performance since joining the Gunners. AS, a reliable source, has described Havertz as the “bullet Madrid dodged,” emphasizing his poor start at Arsenal.

The departure of Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabia initially hinted at a duel between Havertz and Harry Kane for his replacement at Real Madrid. However, Madrid ultimately opted out of pursuing either player, deeming the asking prices by Chelsea and Tottenham, respectively, exorbitant. Havertz’s €70 million move to Arsenal was considered overly expensive by Madrid, a price they were unwilling to match.

This decision has proven astute for Real Madrid, given Havertz’s underwhelming contributions in his early games with Arsenal. With seven games under his belt, the German midfielder has failed to make a significant impact, lacking goals and assists. As criticisms start to mount, the €70 million price tag appears increasingly unjustifiable to critics and fans alike.

Real Madrid, observing from a distance, firmly believe they made the right call by not pursuing Havertz at such a hefty cost. They are content with their decision, seeing it as a bullet dodged, and are content to let Arsenal bear the weight of the substantial investment in Havertz.
