Saudi Clubs Poised to Present Generous Offers for Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne

    adminBy adminJanuary 20, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

Despite ongoing speculation linking Mohamed Salah to Saudi clubs, reports indicate that the 31-year-old Egyptian forward is content with his current situation at Liverpool. Salah’s contract with the club extends until 2025, and even without a contract extension, Liverpool is unlikely to entertain the departure of one of their key players. As the fifth-highest top scorer in Liverpool’s history, Salah is expected to continue his career at Anfield until 2025, when he will be 33.

While rumors may trigger contract discussions, the likelihood of Salah moving to a league with a football standard comparable to the English Premier League remains uncertain. The considerable gap in football standards between the Saudi Pro League and the Premier League suggests that Salah may lean towards continuing to compete in a league of similar caliber.

In the midst of these speculations, Al-Hilal is reportedly considering a bid for Salah, along with expressing interest in Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne. However, Salah’s significance to Liverpool and his established role make it challenging for the club to entertain offers, particularly given his existing contract.

Concerning Kevin De Bruyne, his stance on a potential summer move is still undetermined. However, it seems reasonable to assume that the Belgian midfielder would prioritize staying with Manchester City, where he has played a pivotal role in the club’s success. De Bruyne’s potential departure, if at all considered, would likely prompt considerable negotiations and discussions between the player, the club, and any interested parties.
