Liverpool is buzzing with transfer speculation, with the spotlight on their potential move for Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala. Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that Liverpool has been informed of a substantial price tag of around $105 million (£87 million/€100 million) to secure the services of the talented winger in the summer of 2024. Musiala’s contract with Bayern extends until 2026, giving the German club no immediate pressure to sell, requiring any interested party to make a significant offer.
Jacobs emphasized that Bayern is not obligated to sell, and instead, they might focus on extending Musiala’s contract. To successfully secure Musiala in 2024, Jacobs suggests that Liverpool or any other interested club would need to make an offer well in excess of €85 million or €90 million, possibly even surpassing €100 million (£87 million).
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s young talent Luke Chambers shared insights into manager Jürgen Klopp’s advice ahead of his full debut in the Europa League against Toulouse. Chambers impressed during the 5-1 victory, playing for 67 minutes. With Kostas Tsimikas rested and Andy Robertson sidelined due to injury, the 19-year-old seized the opportunity. Reflecting on his dream debut, Chambers expressed delight and revealed Klopp’s advice: “[Klopp] just said to enjoy it. He said there was no pressure, just go out and play how I usually play.” Chambers took this guidance to heart, and with Robertson’s continued absence, he might feature in upcoming cup fixtures.
