“Arsenal Striker Gabriel Jesus Attributes his Lower Scoring Rate to the Quiet Nature of a 23-Year-Old Arsenal Star, Not Naming Saka, Martinelli, or Odegaard as the Culprit”

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has expressed his frustration about the playing style of 23-year-old Arsenal player Jakub Kiwior, suggesting that Kiwior’s quiet demeanor on the pitch is negatively impacting their ability to score goals. In an interview with Footballer Fits’ TikTok channel, Jesus highlighted Kiwior’s reticent nature and its impact on their game. He also went on to commend Kiwior as one of the funniest players at Arsenal despite his quiet disposition.

Kiwior, who made the move to Arsenal from Serie A outfit Spezia Calcio in January, had a significant role in the team during the latter part of the previous campaign due to an injury to William Saliba. However, his playing time has been limited in the current season as Gabriel Magalhaes and Saliba have once again formed a formidable partnership in the center-back position.

Despite the challenges Kiwior has faced in terms of securing playing time, he has displayed promising performances since joining Arsenal and seems to be adapting well to the Premier League. Gabriel Jesus’ remarks shed light on the contrast between Kiwior’s quiet demeanor and his sense of humor, which has endeared him to his teammates.

In the interview with Footballer Fits, when asked about the funniest player at Arsenal, Jesus humorously pointed out Kiwior’s reticence by mimicking his reserved stance, stating, “I think it’s between Jakub because he doesn’t speak, you look at him and he’s like this [he shrugged],” he said. “So him and Zinchenko.” Despite his quiet nature, Kiwior has managed to become one of the funniest characters in the Arsenal squad, demonstrating that humor can transcend language barriers on the field.

Kiwior, being a Polish international, is still adapting to life in England after his transition from Italy earlier in the year. While he faces stiff competition from the formidable partnership of Gabriel and Saliba, there will still be opportunities for him to prove himself this season, especially in competitions like the League Cup and FA Cup.
