Benjamin Šeško names the Manchester United teammate he blames for his scoring slump.

Benjamin Šeško has become the focal point of growing tension at Manchester United, with new reports suggesting he has finally reached his limit — and has privately identified one teammate as the cause of his worrying decline in form this season.

Šeško arrived at Old Trafford with enormous anticipation surrounding him: a dynamic, athletic striker expected to lead the club’s attacking resurgence. But instead of delivering on that promise, he has spent much of the season feeling sidelined and increasingly irritated, watching attack after attack fall apart before he ever receives the ball. According to those close to the situation, the frustration has built to a breaking point.

Insiders claim Šeško has issued a clear warning to the club hierarchy: if the ongoing issue isn’t dealt with by January, he will reassess his place at the club.

At the centre of his anger is one teammate — a player he has reportedly described in blistering terms as “the most selfish footballer I’ve ever played with.”

Sources say Šeško did not hold back when expressing his dissatisfaction. He allegedly told the club that this teammate constantly slows the game down, ignores obvious passing opportunities, and often opts for unnecessary solo attempts rather than feeding the striker who is waiting in open space.

His comments, as reported, were brutally direct:

“I’ve never played with someone so obsessed with personal achievements. I’m doing everything to get into scoring positions, but he’s making it impossible.”

Signs of this problem have been visible for weeks. Supporters, analysts, and even rival fans have pointed to the same recurring pattern: United build promising attacks, the ball reaches this particular midfielder, and the move stalls due to over-dribbling or poor on-ball decisions. Time after time, Šeško has been left visibly frustrated as clear chances disappear.

Behind closed doors, this tension has now reached a boiling point. Reports suggest Šeško has called for tactical changes — or for the player in question to be removed from key attacking roles. He still believes he can thrive at United, but not while this teammate monopolizes possession without producing results.

His camp has even provided data to reinforce his stance: Šeško is making more forward runs than any other United attacker, yet receives the fewest meaningful passes in threatening areas.

The message circulating through the club is stark: if United want their £60 million signing to succeed, something must change — and Šeško has already identified who he believes is standing in his way.

Unless the situation is resolved quickly, January could bring far more trouble than anyone at the club anticipated.
