After the Premier League’s financial deadline passed, Chelsea extended their offer to Gallagher, making him one of the highest-paid midfielders at Stamford Bridge. Despite this generous offer, the 24-year-old midfielder was seeking a more extended contract than the two-year deal with a one-year extension option that Chelsea proposed.
Looking ahead, Gallagher’s future remains uncertain. He has not yet committed to Atletico Madrid and has expressed that he would only sign if the terms were favorable to him.
