Jamal Musiala poised to sign for Liverpool – Deal Confirmed βœ…πŸ“

    adminBy adminFebruary 10, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

At just 20 years old, Musiala has rapidly become a prominent central midfielder globally. He ascended through Chelsea’s youth system from 2011 to 2019, but Bayern Munich brought him back to Germany. Musiala has emerged as a key figure for both his club and national team, drawing comparisons to England’s standout player, Jude Bellingham.

Mainly playing as an attacking midfielder, Musiala boasts an impressive goal-scoring record, tallying 32 goals and 25 assists in 133 professional appearances for Bayern. His contract with Bayern runs until 2026, but Liverpool’s reported interest, along with Manchester City and Chelsea, has stirred attention.

Despite Bayern’s desire to secure Musiala with an improved contract, internal turmoil with the departure of Hasan Salihamidzic and Oliver Kahn has delayed negotiations. Musiala, frustrated by Thomas Tuchel’s rotation policy despite consistent performances, faces uncertainty.

Amidst increasing interest, Bayern may strategize to maximize profits in the 2024 summer transfer window. Reports suggest any offer below €100 million (Β£87 million) might be rejected, though Musiala’s Transfermarkt valuation is speculated at €110 million (Β£96 million).

Real Madrid’s €134 million (Β£117 million) acquisition of Bellingham sets a benchmark, indicating Bayern’s potential asking price for Musiala. Internal issues may weaken Bayern’s bargaining position without a new deal.

The Liverpool Echo, citing a Spanish article, discloses the potential transfer cost, suggesting Liverpool’s pursuit may benefit from their previous pursuit of Moises Caicedo. Despite a failed bid, subsequent signings like Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch hint at available funds for further investments.
