Liverpool is considering three potential transfers alongside discussions to terminate a problematic attacking agreement that has caused frustration for Klopp.

Liverpool is reportedly in talks to terminate the contract of one of their forwards, although the final decision on the player’s future is yet to be determined, according to a reliable source.

The team boasts a formidable array of forwards, including stars such as Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, and Diogo Jota. Harvey Elliott, a promising talent, often finds himself in midfield due to Jurgen Klopp’s surplus of attacking options, frequently taking up the right-wing position when Salah is rested.

In the Europa League, Ben Doak has been given opportunities to showcase his skills, leading to the loan of Fabio Carvalho during the summer. Carvalho, originally a No 10 at Fulham, faced challenges adapting to Klopp’s 4-3-3 system.

While Carvalho is highly valued by Klopp and Liverpool, having joined the club in 2022 after an initial failed attempt, his appearances were limited in his first season at Anfield. His loan to RB Leipzig, starting on June 30, was expected to offer valuable developmental opportunities, but Carvalho has encountered frustrations, amassing only 257 minutes of playing time.

Despite the initial plan for a season-long loan, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano suggests that Liverpool is considering terminating the agreement due to Carvalho’s ongoing lack of game time and resulting dissatisfaction.
