**Breaking: £150k-a-week “World-Class” Talent Ready for Manchester United Move**

**Emiliano Martínez Reportedly Keen on Manchester United Move Amid Summer Transfer Talks**

In a significant development ahead of the summer transfer window, reports have emerged claiming that Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez, the highly-rated Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper, is eagerly waiting for Manchester United to make a move for him. The 32-year-old shot-stopper, who currently earns £150,000 per week, is said to be open to leaving Villa Park, with Old Trafford reportedly his preferred destination despite United not qualifying for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Manchester United are actively exploring the transfer market in search of reinforcements following a disappointing campaign that saw them finish 15th in the Premier League. One of the club’s biggest weaknesses last season was their inconsistency between the posts. While André Onana was signed to be the long-term No. 1, his performances have drawn criticism, raising questions about whether he’s the right man for the job.

Martínez has been identified as a potential solution to United’s goalkeeping woes. The Argentine international has built a reputation as one of Europe’s top goalkeepers, not only for his outstanding club performances with Aston Villa but also for his memorable displays with Argentina, particularly during their victorious 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign. He was pivotal in the final against France, making critical saves and dominating the penalty shootout. His heroics earned him the admiration of fans worldwide and the **Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper Award** in 2024, beating elite names such as Ederson, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Mike Maignan.

The former Arsenal man has also been praised by top footballing figures. Manchester United legend Gary Neville labeled him “world-class,” and former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo singled him out for a spectacular save against Nottingham Forest, which underlined his reflexes and clutch instincts. Despite his success at Villa, Martínez is said to be intrigued by the idea of a move to one of England’s biggest clubs and is reportedly willing to make the switch if United formalize their interest.

While Galatasaray and other European clubs are also showing interest in the World Cup winner, the allure of playing for a globally renowned club like Manchester United appears to be a major factor swaying Martínez’s decision. United, meanwhile, are weighing their options as they also look to secure a new striker, with names like Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike, and Jean-Philippe Mateta circulating as potential targets.

All eyes are now on whether Manchester United will act on Martínez’s apparent willingness to join, potentially ushering in a new era between the sticks at Old Trafford.
