Bacary Sagna has suggested that Paul Pogba might embrace the chance to return to Manchester United for a third stint, particularly under the leadership of current manager Ruben Amorim. The 31-year-old French World Cup winner is currently unattached after parting ways with Juventus by mutual agreement earlier this month. Pogba’s second spell at the Italian club was limited to just 12 appearances, with his career disrupted by a doping controversy. In September 2023, he was handed a four-year suspension for testing positive for a banned substance. However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) later reduced the ban to 18 months, citing unintentional ingestion. This ruling allows Pogba to resume training in January 2024 and return to competitive football by March.
